 Color correction for PhotoShop®ColoRight was developed as a stand alone unit for use with any scanner, digital camera or as a color correction unit for images that need adjusting. In addition to the PhotoShop plug-in, it also comes with a Scanning with PhotoShop tutorial and a number of color separation and action files to simplify the image editing process.
Color adjustmentThe color adjustments include all the color correction settings needed to fix up your scans or images. This include settings for Exposure, Balance, Saturation, Castes, Black and White levels and selective color adjustments. Once you have found the settings that you like you can save these settings so that future scans or digital pictures from the same source can be adjusted automatically. The Adjustment sets provide an excellent way to clean up images from digital cameras which, because of the CCD's used, have an inherent green or magenta caste. Just load the image, make the corrections, save the Adjustment set and apply it to any digital photos in the future. Pre-built Adjustment sets are supplied for castes of all six colors (black and white "castes" are handled via the exposure control). These, plus settings to "clean grass", "clean sky" and to simplify separations for newspaper and sheet fed printers help take the guess work out of scanning.
